Cookie Policy
We use as few cookies as possible. The Takums website has no advertising or tracking cookies at all — only what is needed to remember your choice and keep the site secure.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies — such as the browser's local storage — work in the same way and are covered by this policy too.
2. When we ask for consent
Strictly necessary cookies and storage do not need consent — the site or map cannot work without them. Any other category (for example analytics) is used only after you allow it in the cookie banner. The banner treats "Accept all" and "Reject all" equally, and rejecting never limits what you can use.

We do not currently use analytics or marketing cookies. If that ever changes, the new category will appear in the cookie banner and will stay off until you allow it.
4. Record of your choice
When you make a choice in the banner we store a record: a random consent ID, the categories you chose, the version of the banner, the language, the page address, an anonymised IP address and the browser type. This lets us show that consent was given, as the law requires. The record is kept for up to 24 months.
5. Content loaded from other services
Some content is loaded directly by your browser from other providers. They do not set cookies through Takums, but — like any server — they see your IP address:
- the web map loads satellite imagery from Esri and terrain data from Amazon Web Services;
- the web map loads fonts from Google Fonts.

6. How to change your choice
Click Cookie settings (also at the bottom of every page) and change or withdraw your consent at any time. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings; the banner will then ask again.
7. Changes
If we change what we use, we update this page and — where the change needs new consent — ask you again through the banner.
